OUR STORY:
Ambassadors in the Marketplace (AIM) was conceived and birthed through Professor Joshua Boateng in 2016. Having observed the tendency to see Sunday spiritual activity as mutually exclusive to what we do Monday to Saturday and the clear disparity from what is evident in the bible, he desired to change the narrative. The scripture that constantly informed this passion was Proverbs 22:29 about diligence and excellence bringing us before Kings.
After months of preparation through prayer, reflection and speaking to close mentors the vision and mission statements were identified and written down (Habbakuk 2 vs 2) followed by spelling out key values and ministry focus with ‘Excellence’ being a key objective.
Then at the beginning of 2017, we begun the process of planning and preparing for the official launch of the ministry, which occurred on Saturday 4th of November, 2017 at the All Nations Centre in Kennington, London. It was a beautiful day of celebration but also of anticipation, and a big shout out to my family, friends and colleagues who came to support on the day as well as those who supported in other ways, may the Lord richly bless you.
Since the launch, we have had various equipping events mainly in collaboration with churches across the UK, Ghana and the USA. We are looking forward to expanding our reach to other avenues outside church in the future but more importantly collaborating with likeminded ministries across the world.
